GOVERNOR.
Charlotte Nelson Aiosa, a lyric soprano, earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her Master of Music in Voice Performance and the Bachelor of Science in Music Education degrees were earned at the University of Maryland, College Park. During her career as a singer and teacher she has performed mostly in the Washington D.C. area and at Shenandoah Conservatory, where she is a Professor of Music. Her academic life has included serving as chairperson of the Voice Division at Shenandoah for ten years, and serving as the Vice President and President of the NATS Virginia District. Various awards have included the Wilkens Faculty Appreciation Award from Shenandoah Conservatory 1992, the Regents Fellowship from the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan in 1984-87, and an Opera Scholarship for the Aspen Opera Program in 1985. During her studies at the University of Maryland she received a graduate assistantship in 1977, and was invited to be a member of Pi Kappa Lambda.
TREASURER.
Julie Dean received her B.M. in Vocal Performance from Queens University
of Charlotte, and M.M. from Winthrop University. Julie currently
teaches voice lessons and voice classes at Queens and the Community
School of the Arts, and serves as Executive Director of the Friends
of Music at Queens. She is an active chorus member with Opera
Carolina and is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Treasurer for NATS.

ADMINISTRATOR. Grant
Lewis earned his doctoral degree in Voice Performance at the Indiana
University School of Music in Bloomington, IN where he also
completed doctoral minor degrees in musicology and music technology.
Dr. Lewis teaches courses in voice, church music, and is the
Director of Music Technology at the Neb and Martha Cline School of
Music at North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC. He
frequently performs as a soloist and has enjoyed both cover and
performing roles in Il Trovatore, Tosca, Lucia di
Lammermoor, Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Creation,
and the Mozart Requiem. Grant is a member of and webmaster
for SCNATS, having served as Vice-President for the district
2004-2005. Dr. Lewis and his wife Camille live in Taylors, SC with
their two young sons, Isaac and Gavin.
